Miles Motture has served St. Stephen's and beyond for several years.
He has sung in the choir and organized coffee hour 'volunteers' after the 10:30 service. Miles has also been the overnight man at Inn from the Cold, keeping watch over the 15 or more guests so they can sleep more easily.
Victor Baird presented Miles with a cheque on behalf of the congregation. It will surely be useful this fall when he begins his law studies at the University of Victoria.
Recallng his mother's annoyance with Oscar winners who thank everyone under the sun at great length, Miles simply said "Thank you."
